Location:
Gunnerud is the name of the
village where you can find our apartment. Gunnerud is a small
village with about 30 houses. It is located 12 km
below
Ekshärad and 14 km East of Hagfors in the Värmland province.

Example: from Amsterdam it is about 1350 km
to the apartment.

Traffic rules in
Sweden:
Speed:
On the highways the
maximum speed is 110 km. On ongoing roads the speed is
mostly 90 km. On all other roads the maximum is 70 km.
Specially the last bit along road 62 it's wise not to
exceed this limit. Along this road there are no wild fences
and animals can always cross the road when you don't expect
it.
Alcohol:
The allowed alcohol level to
drive
is only 0,2‰. This is very low and you already reach it
after one glass of wine. Sweden has a very strict alcohol
policy. Especially when it concerns driving and drinking!
Tires:
People living in Sweden are
bound by low to drive winter tires from November to April
1st.
For people from outside of Sweden this low does not apply.
However it is not wise to drive on summer tires during
Swedish winter conditions.

20 litres liquor
90 litres wine (max. 60 litres champagne wine)
110 litres of beer.
Meat:
Taking fresh meat across the border is not allowed. Canned
meat can be taken into Sweden.
Dogs and cats:
A valid EU-passport is needed. Next to that you need
a valid blood test and the animal should be de-wormed. The blood test
can not have been done more than 120 days after the rabies
inoculation and takes about 1 to 3 weeks. It is wise to
check with you veterinary.
Tobacco:
800 cigarettes or 400 cigarillo's or 100 cigars or 1 kg
