Pictures fall/winter:

You can see these piles of wood everywhere in Sweden. The nice thing is that here in Sweden you have to plant a tree for every tree that goes down.

Fall is really beautiful in Värmland. Often with clear skies and cold nights. This is the Klarälven river close to the apartment.

The colours of the fall are breathtaking. In Sweden it looks like the sky is always more blue and the colours are much sharper than anywhere else.

During fall you can take beautiful pictures. Here in Värmland fall time is nice and quiet, you can take long walks out into the nature without meting anybody.

The first snow in December close to the apartment.

The Ice on the lakes can get so thick that people drive there cars on it. Here the tracks on the lake in Edebäck

Love cross country skiing?

We even have routes with lights on them.

Don't forget to change to winter tires because this is how the roads can look like.

The chance of taking a picture of a  wolf is bigger in winter time than is summer time.

Did you knot that:

There are more moose than people living in Värmland !

Beavers were reintroduced into the Swedish nature between 1922 and 1937......

...now there are already more than 100000 beavers in Sweden.

Every  year there are more than 32500 collisions with dear and about 7700 with moose.

Sometimes mosquito's can be really annoying.

Mostly they bother you in the evening when the temperature drops.

Often this stops after one hour when the temp. stabilises.

Knots can bother you even more.

They keep on going until you go inside.

They are drown to the exhaling of breathing air.

We don't have problems with them at the apartment.
