Discover Värmland, Sweden:

Värmland, also named little Canada, is known as one of the most beautiful provinces of Sweden. In Värmland you still have real seasons which include stable summers with long light evenings, beautiful colours in the fall, cold winters with snow and a wonderful spring time.

Värmland is the only province in Sweden where you can meet almost all the wildlife Sweden has to offer. In its nature you can meet the wolf, wolverine, brown bear, lynx and of course the king of the forest the moose.

Värmland is also the province that has the biggest river of Sweden, the Klarälven, running through it. All trough till 1991 the river has been used for the so called "timber rafting" (transport of wood in very big rafts). These days the river is well know for it's fishing opportunities (salmon and trout), and for its water sports possibilities with canoe, kayak or wooden rafts.

In April 2006 we started an outdoor shop called Route62 in the middle of this nature rich and beautiful province.

On the top floor of  our shop we have a completely renovated apartment that we rent out. The apartment has it own entry and is equipped with all the comfort of home.
